Jayaram starring horror movie Aadupuliyattam had its pooja being held at Thodupuzha. Based on myth of 600 years old Aadupuliyattam is horror movie directed by Kannan Thamarakulam with Jayaram and Jewel Mary in the lead roles. The movie also features Remya Krishnan, Om Puri, Sudheer Karamana, S P Sreekumar, Saju Navodaya and Ramesh Pisharody in main cast. Dinesh Pallath pens the story of Aadupuliyattam produced by Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Althur under the banner Grande Film Corporation. Aravind Krishna handles the camera and the main locationas are Alappuzha and Pazhani.
Remya Krishnan will be donning the character of Mathangi while Om Puri handles a different character. The Family Superstar Jayaram is all in a new salt n’ pepper look that would make a new impression on his stardom. He essays the role of Sathyajith, a businessman.
