The fun filled movie is female centric and makes a statement on our female protagonists in main stream Malayalam Cinema. But, what makes Thilothama different is the out-and-out comic treatment adopted by the debutante director.

The movie keeps almost all different types of viewers engaged throughout the running time. The movie follows Rosy, who is on the run after accidently fall witnessing a cold blooded murder. She is being chased by the culpritsand Rosy’s life is at stake. She happened to land in many places in many getupsin between her run for life.

Rachana Narayanankutty is at her menacing best in Thilothama. Mollywood had seen this tone of her acting earlier in the movie Kanthari. But, she enjoys a greater level of freedom and comfort under the supervision of director Preeti Panicker and that adds effortlessness to her performance. She carries the movie solely on her shoulders at some points in the script.
